The children go for a walk and collect autumn leaves and other natural materials, look at them - color, shape, characteristic features. They explore the natural landscape in the Autumn. Using  the collected autumn leaves and natural materials, children create natural pictures.
With this activity we form concrete ideas about the plants and the beauty of nature in autumn. We build a positive attitude towards its preservation. Stimulating children to create a picture of natural materials, we develop their imagination and creativity.

With the coming of Autumn  and the fleeing of migratory birds to the warmer countries, after the games and walks outside, children see that not all birds fly away and somebody needs to take care of their winged friends during the cold winter days when it is difficult to find food.
With the help of the parents, the children make houses - bird feeders, then put them in the right places. In winter children put food in their small houses and observe bird’s behavior.
With this activity, we enrich children's knowledge about birds, their way of  life and the need for care.

The kids are on a “expedition” in search of  bugs. Getting to know the natural locality, they find an anthill and the ants moving in and out. Children watch for a while the little insects that carry  loads  on their back - food supplies for the winter.
The little explorers learn about how ants collect food, where is their home - an underground housing with many tunnels, and  a heap of soil, sand, or clay above the ground.
We educate environmentally friendly behavior.

After several visiting to a fruit and vegetables bio-farm , where the children help to the gardeners and learn about the way of growing plants, we prepared pickle for the winter. The children observe and taste the vegetables. They wash and arrange them in different dishes, get acquainted with the necessary products for preparing of pickles and begin the ordering of the cut vegetables in jars. One month the children observe how the colors of vegetables and water is changing and finally how their taste had changed.
With this activity we enriching child's experience and their knowledge about different vegetables and people's labor.

Learning about the traditions and cultural - historical peculiarities of the nations.

Developing the imagination and creativity of children, as well as fine motor skills.

In the past, people have been driving away illnesses using "kukeri" - people dressed and masked with old costumes, a Bulgarian tradition that is celebrated during the winter months. The costumes are made of animal skins, they must look awesome to scare the evil forces. This holiday is analogous with Halloween.

Children are researching transmittance of light of natural materials and they are discussing about that. Than children are creatively working . They are making stylized items from natural materials on the light table and combine them into the storyline. Natural materials - chestnuts, acorns, stones, leaves and other materials

Kids are so happy for the first snow! They play snow balls and make the most beautiful snow man in Dobele! A boy suggested to place the snow in a lorry. They found winter spade useful! Some kids place the snow in the sled! It is the the way to carry snow. Little ones have a lot to do!!!

The methodological materials produced in this project will be distributed on website to make them accessible to the general public all over Europe, giving teachers the opportunity to develop innovative, children-oriented pedagogical approaches to improve the quality of education in the long term.
After the teaching learning seminars, methodological materials will be uploaded there.

Sharing experience and good practices of innovation and professional development during the teachers "Child of Nature". This activity aims to create "Nature Awareness" in children. Four nature trips which are autumn trip, winter trip, spring trip, summer trip will be organized in four seasons. Each trip has specific tasks.

1. Autumn Trip: Orienteering games.
2. Winter Trip: Designing bird feeders and putting in natural environment.
3. Spring Trip: Planting tree.
4. Summer Trip: Recycling activities.

"Child of nature'' Teachers will enable children to gaining experience in natural environment and gain natural  awareneess, flexibility adaptability, initiative and self-direction, productivity and accountability skills.
